Curious to know more?
Q: Are the puppies raised inside your home?
A: Yes! Our dogs are our family and spend all of their time in our home. I am home, full-time, so that I am able to raise our small pack with the care and affection that they need and require.
Q: Are the puppies socialized?
A: Yes! We expose our puppies to children, cats, and large dogs (we also have German Shepherds) so that they are less likely to be reactionary to these exposures when they leave our home. We also spend time desensitizing them to loud noises that they would normally hear in a home - vacuum, tv, music, cabinet doors slamming, etc. - as well as desensitizing them to touch. Lastly, we practice ENS/ESI with our puppies, which are techniques to help develop resilience and coping mechanisms that the puppies can use later in life.
Q: What is the process for adopting a puppy?
A: Once the litter is born, a $300 non-refundable deposit is required - sent through Venmo, Zelle, or Paypal - to hold a particular puppy. I do not, currently, hold a waitlist so the deposit will be puppy specific. The deposit amount will be deducted from the final amount, with the remainder of the final amount being due upon pick-up. Once the deposit is sent, a puppy contract will be sent to solidify the agreement. Additionally, we can be found on the Good Dog app, which is another way to facilitate payment. This app does have fees which are used like insurance to ensure a safe payment process, so it does cost more this way. I can provide a referral code which I have been told gives the buyer a small discount.
Q: Will the puppies have seen a vet before I take him/her home?
A: All puppies will have had age specific vaccinations and deworming, as well as an all clear from our vet (Ozark Veterinary Clinic) before going to their new homes.
Q: Is there a difference between male and female puppies?
A: In my personal opinion, males tend to be more clingy and social whereas females tend to be more independent. Our males are more likely to greet people as they come in the home while the females like to take their time with warming up to new people.
Q: Will the puppies be registered?
A: We do register our litters with their respective kennel clubs but we only provide limited, pet, registration to owners. On occasion, we will work with breeders who we think would make a great match for our puppies as future parents and in this instance we will provide their full registration. The prices listed are pet home only - buying the breeding rights can be discussed and will be an additional fee.
Q: Do you have a contract?
A: Yes! Please click this link to see a copy of our contract:
